Attention Aliso Viejo residents: Registration for the city’s Snow Fest will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to noon and on Monday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at City Hall, 12 Journey, suite 100.
Open registration for residents and non-residents will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at City Hall, if space is available.
Snow Fest takes place on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Grand Park, 26703 Aliso Creek Road. The city will transform a pristine park into a winter wonderland complete with snow. The holiday event will take place in three sessions – from 10:05 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.; 11:25 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.; and 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Visitors will enjoy the Grand Mountain (long run), Bunny Hill (short run) and Snow Man Park for youngsters 5 and under. Along with tons of snow, the event will feature refreshments and music.
Renaissance ClubSport will provide cocoa and cookies and the Aliso Viejo Public Library will provide a craft.
The entrance fee is $5 per person. Participants are encouraged to bring mittens and dress for snow. The city will supply sleds and saucers. No pets or outside sleds/saucers or snow equipment allowed.
